Indonesia Day 2 $2.25mn Approx. Cume $4.2mn Approx.

It increased from OD? Is that normal for Indonesia? Doesn’t seem to be usual for Thursday after Wednesday openings in e.g. SK

Thursday was a holiday. It's called Nyepi, or Day of Silence, celebrated by Hindus, mainly in Bali. But it's a public holiday for the whole country.

$2.25m is HUGE. One of the biggest days ever I think? Even if you include Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I'm not sure though about that.

Captain Marvel Has Best Opening Of 2019

Captain Marvel had an excellent opening as it took the best opening of the year at around 45-50%. There have been two good openings this year with Total Dhamaal and Gully Boy (due to Valentines Day) but it is Hollywood which has shown the way again with a film which has actually got the crowd to come in on the first morning across the country.

The collections may not reach the levels of Gully Boy or Total Dhamaal but that is because it has been released on far lesser screens but the occupancy is better. Both the Hindi releases were well over 3000 while this film is just 1900 screens. The film is sure to have a huge weekend and may well be the biggest ever outside Avengers - Infinity War for Hollywood releases in India.

Seems like $25mn Thursday Approx. Total by Thursday end shall be around $40mn.

$300mn weekend incoming.

Is that for international numbers only? Because if the US numbers is included in that $300M, then that would be on the lower end of the trades predictions.
