I really, really liked it. It's so good from a technical standpoint that the relatively subdued drama underneath all the exciting space stuff didn't really bothered me. The visuals and the sound during the X-15 and Gemini 8 scenes were especially well done, and communicated the claustrophobia and anxiety of the situations perfectly. It really is an experience.
