It was more of the scheduling that did it in to be honest, even without the mixed reviews, opening a week after Samurai Pizza Cats 2 would’ve took away some OW, but I thought it was a cute film for what it’s worth and it’d have legs.

It wasn't necessarily that but the fact that there was another big animated release the weekend before yours. I think both opening in proximity of each other ate into their potential grosses.

 

If there were more distance between the two films, both probably would've made much more money.

Just a heads up that totals will wait until we get more lists in.

I may actually roll out totals quarter by quarter, with Q1 hopefully getting done by Wednesday.

 

This way, the only films that will really be affected by the rest of the lists and reviews would come in Q4, so I’d feel comfortable starting to roll totals out slowly but surely.
