Blaze Heatnix
Final trailer This looks like a dumped movie. Same director from The Devil Inside. My theory: Spoiler This is a prequel and that kid will become the crazy guy from the first movie that attacked the Walking Dead girl. It would be an interesting little twist. Also, indeed it looks like a dump. I'll still probably go see it on a Tuesday or something.
CJohn
2.100 theaters. Yikes. STX doesn't give a fuck about this.

You’d think they would considering the state they’re in. I know they resubmitted this to the MPAA so it’s been re edited.

This isn't a bigger horror from a bigger studio (aka something like a Conjuring universe film from WB, or even The Invisible Man from Universal). I guess it is a little low though. 2,500+ would seem a bit more normal, especially for a film like this that very likely won't make much money and is from a smaller studio. OdinSon2k14
Really enjoyed the original. Apparently M Night did as well, he borrowed from it for his Apple TV series 😂. He's sued by someone else though. Anyway, when it was revealed that the doll is not alive, and the man-child came out from the walls, I 😲! I wonder, is the man-child still in this? Blaze Heatnix
I talked to someone who claimed to have watched this movie...He said the movie is very boring. He also said the trailer is somehow misleading.
Blaze Heatnix
There are some reviews, but from Indonesia ( movie was released there yesterday ). Anyway, I found a review on youtube and the guy says this movie is as bad as The Turning...:(
OdinSon2k14
Now I'm sensing that the man-child from the original is not in this...the doll will now possess whoever takes ownership of it.

Blaze Heatnix
No reviews yet? That's nuts. I read the whole plot, so it makes sense. This should have been released on January, definitely.
Boxofficerules
I just saw this, boring. Really struggles to justify its own existence, really feels like they had no clue how to follow on the first. Climax is weak as hell.

What do you think about CinemaScore? The first got a B-, so this may get a C?

In fact the main people I could see hating it are fans of the first movie as it retcons the fuck out of that movie. It feels like a part 3 that’s trying desperately hard to fix the mistakes of the 2nd movie.
