This is a prequel and that kid will become the crazy guy from the first movie that attacked the Walking Dead girl. 

 

That theory makes sense. It would be an interesting little twist.

 

Also, indeed it looks like a dump. I'll still probably go see it on a Tuesday or something.

I don't know, that seems about right. This isn't a bigger horror from a bigger studio (aka something like a Conjuring universe film from WB, or even The Invisible Man from Universal). I guess it is a little low though. 2,500+ would seem a bit more normal, especially for a film like this that very likely won't make much money and is from a smaller studio.

Really enjoyed the original. Apparently M Night did as well, he borrowed from it for his Apple TV series 😂.  He's sued by someone else though. Anyway, when it was revealed that the doll is not alive, and the man-child came out from the walls, I 😲! I wonder, is the man-child still in this?

I read the whole plot, so it makes sense. This should have been released on January, definitely. 

Not like the movie is going to flop because of how cheap it is.

I don’t think they’ll hate it, I think they’ll find it painfully mediocre. I could see it getting a D+ or C-.

In fact the main people I could see hating it are fans of the first movie as it retcons the fuck out of that movie. It feels like a part 3 that’s trying desperately hard to fix the mistakes of the 2nd movie.
