A bunch of liars, don't fall for this, Napoleon was also praised as a masterpiece with Brando-level perfomance on its test-screenings, but it turned out to be a complete mediocrity. "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice..." you know this saying.

Didn't he claim Indy 5 is fantastic?

Oh, he has made lots of really bad predictions about movie box office over the years. He has little creditiblity left.

Quiet Place would seem to be most likely candidate

Terrible if true. It's a 310 mln production and they are releasing first public promo only 5 months before release? That would signal zero confidence, they know it already flopped. Hopefully it's actually coming before June.

Did you know Infinity War had its first trailer about five months before release?

Avatar had more extensive VFX work than other movies and Infinity War was about avoiding spoilers nonsense. Sir Ridley nearly finished the film, no reason to delay "the best movie ever" reveal for much longer. Plus they already showed the trailer on Cinema Con.

It might very well be coming out this month, I don't know. I only say Quiet Place because it's the next PG-13+ Paramount tentpole. But five months is a perfectly normal promotional frame.

Avengers: Infinity War and Avatar 2 basically sold themselves solely on their names. Gladiator won’t have that, at least not to the same extent.

I think shortly before Apes or Furiosa is more likely for a trailer drop. Waiting for mid-June seems a tiny bit concerning.

The first Avatar was the one that had a late trailer.

Really don't understand the talk of if they wait until June that is concerning and means they are down on the movie. Like what? That is still 5 months from release. Waiting until Quiet Place Day One would be just fine and they could put it in front of Horizon Part 1 that weekend too.  Although Would not be surprised if they do it earlier and put in front of Furiosa or BB:ROD which  are R rated and they could do a red band trailer.

Looking a lot more likely now that it’s early June…

Honestly, I feel like right before Furiosa would’ve been the perfect time to drop the trailer. Just place it in front of a critically-acclaimed R-rated blockbuster. Or at least Bad Boys 4. Especially since they showed footage at CinemaCon. Moana 2 is a mini-series that was turned into a film and even that has a trailer out for its November release.

I mean A Quiet Place is PG-13? Doesn't make much sense to drop it in front of PG-13 movie, even if hard PG-13. They'll likely release the trailer this month because it's definitely time to finally launch first promo, no reason to market it much later unless it's Passengers or Aquaman 2 type of movie when studio has no confidence in it and just drags marketing campaign start as close to its release date as they can.

Guess this means it's a bomb now

I’m not exactly this film’s biggest cheerleader but I’m not saying it’s a guaranteed bomb. Just that for a film that “blew Paramount execs away” and got “wild” reactions at CinemaCon two months ago, it would’ve been encouraging to see something by now. Wicked had a Super Bowl trailer and we already have a trailer for Mufasa as well.
