Is it normal to have 4 films scored above 10m on the same day?

After having checked some prime holiday dates for the rest of this decade, it’s my suspicion that this is actually the first time in history (would be glad to be proven wrong if anyone has a better way to check). Black Friday 2012 got close, and actually has the entire daily top 5 over 10M adjusted with Life of Pi just barely squeaking in.

Bummed Ralph deflated a bit after that amazing OD, but still on track for 250ish, which is a fantastic jump over the first. I remember a lot of people saying there wasn't demand for it and it would make less than the first when it was announced. Should be an interesting horse race between it and Grinch DOM.

The nutcracker is really the biggest bomb of the year, huh?. No amount of fudge will push that abomination to 100m.

Nope, Solo. Not sure if Nutcracker even cost enough to be a bigger bomb if it grossed $0.

Bohemian still outpacing A Fad Is Born. I hope it ends up outgrossing it domestically.  Sadly I don’t think straight men rewatch movies as obsessively as the target audience for ASIB.

Oh god you’re right. I forgot about that movies existence. :o  Disney may have won the year but they took a lot of L’s as well.

I'm pretty sure next week is going to put a stop to that.

Last night when I went to see Grindelwald with my Dad, we walked out at the same time as a Nutcracker showing was done, and all I heard was confusion and dissatisfaction over that film.

Umm....are you sure those weren't just hearing the reactions of your Grindelwald audience?

Disney's live action division needs the same creative control that WDAS & Pixar has because it's a mess right now. It always was but still.
