Instant Family is actually a really sweet movie. The A CinemaScore grade makes sense. I can see it holding really well the next few weeks until the avalanche of Christmas releases forces it out.

Looks like The Favourite was quite frontloaded among that specialty audience. Will be interesting to see which makes more between that and Mary Queen of Scots (the former is expected to be a bigger awards player but the latter seems like an easier sell to a broader audience).

Expected but nice start for The Favourite. In the last 10 years I can only think of Amy Adams as a smarter actress than Emma Stone in terms of picking out roles.
