I dont know how that comment would affect the china release but ok...people are overreacting nothing will change..if there was a proof then maybe but from the moment that thats not the case i doubt it...

Unless there’s a photo posted by him that verified it was him when he did the AMA then I see no reason why he can’t deny it was even him.🤷‍♂️

In some instances simu responded to the comments saying that this isnt true....there is no reason for statement at all at least for now...it will bring unwanted attention...from the moment that people will forget about it by the end of week i dont know why he should do anything...

 

 

Ps all of this started bc of one person on twitter who basically without any proof whatsoever said that he was involved...and then another person supported that...and later on it was revealed that this person had made comments against homosexuals so.....not a great source all around

Simu Liu could easily deny he made those comments if they weren't true. Regardless this won't cost him is job but should be another lesson to regarding social media that I'm sure will come up unfortunately in future for people in fame (unfortunate that comments like these will be made just to be clear).

 

An apology to those who felt hurt by his comments isn't too much to ask I don't think regardless if he had addressed them already or not.

Based on these nothing major. Minor problematic stuff but not too bad. No one likes terrorists. I mean sure its asshole thing to say but it is fact that women are not as good as man in many sports, I can list cricket to be one example, a good school level men's team can easily beat International women cricket team.

The third is more problematic than others but can see what he wanted to say. Will be bad if he get cancelled for this, considering there are celebs who are dating with big age diff. and here Simu is just being sympathetic.

Noone has to agree with what he said but every rational human being at least should see the point he is trying to make even if he didnt use the best example

I've been wondering if Shang-Chi would be included at all in something like an upcoming Avengers movie after all controversy with China. I feel like that would have more of an impact there than this stuff.

China and USA are in a commercial and cultural war now. China will find any excuse to ban the most popular American films, the recent changes in legislation are proof of this.
