If Disney planned for reshoots they can still get it done despite this shoot getting cancelled. Otherwise things move. Already BW is likely to move and Dr Strange will struggle to be ready for May next year considering director change. 

raimie is confirmed to be the director, if the movie is push shooting date , it will be bc of the virus

LOL, remember that Disney was claiming Mulan would have its premiere today and then announced that it moved together with NM and Antlers. They are all going to claim that production is uninterrupted or that release dates stay until they can't.

TBH out of all the Marvel films that got moved this benefits the most from it (aside from Black Widow for fairly obvious reasons). May has been Marvel's "premiere" slot. All the May premieres since 2012 aside from Guardians 2 made a billion (including if you count Infinity War and Endgame, which were announced as May releases but moved up a week to the last week before May), and it's in the summer.

Given the current restrictions in Sydney the earliest filming could resume would be the beginning of July.

It’s not like movies do better because of being in May, the May movies have been huge because it’s where they dated the movies that would be big anyway. Shang-Chi will do worse in its new date because of no CNY. Still expecting a push to Feb 4 2022
