Yes.  Venom did what 855 or so.  This should do somewhere in the (wide range) of 850-925 depending on the 'non China' overseas markets.

I think that media wanted to write headlines about a female lead beating Aquaman and they started to throw crazy predictions and the hype spilled over onto BOT and messed up with everyone's judgement. it isn't just BOT that thought MPR would win Xmas. it all started in media. And then various precursors started to lavish nominations (GG, SAG) and Top Tens (AFI). Boom. 

 

But yeah, there was certain anti-Aquaman narrative and MPR push was big part of it.

It can match Venom with something like,

355 OS-China + 265 China + 235 Dom = 855 ww, similar to Venom

imo it has a good shot at going over those numbers especially OS-China. China could do 270 while 235 Dom can also be handily breached.

I have to imagine it’s gonna drop some theaters on Tuesday. Theaters must be eager to ditch it because it’s wasting valuable auditorium space.
