Aquaman and Venom will end up as the best and 3rd best solo OS debut respectively for a long time. Even without China their OS total will still be around MCU favourites like GOTG 2 and probably above all MCU solo debuts except BP

MCKillswitch123
Gonna compare the drops to other post-Christmas Thursdays only, albeit the majority (if not all) of these weren't opening week numbers like for most of these movies: Aquaman: -14.2% (The Last Jedi: -10.8%, Rogue One: -7.2%) Mary Poppins Returns: -6.4% (Jumanji 2: -1.9%, Pitch Perfect 3: -4.3%) Bumblebee: -7.9% (see Aquaman comps) Into The Spider-Verse: -1.7% (no real good comps for this one, closest ones I can grab are Ferdinand: +7%, Sing: -3%) Considering that ITSV is the only one of these that didn't open last week, these seem pretty solid post-Christmas Thu drops all around. Even for Spider-Verse, staying virtually flat from Wednesday is quite the feat.... don't forget that Ferdinand was a smaller and far less frontloaded family animation, so don't take its number for granted as a comp. Sing is a closer comp as its 3-day opening was identical to SV's, but its full opening was skewed across Christmas week, so its drop being bigger than SV's makes sense. Either way, good holds, if my naive judgment would make it look so.
