As I said before everything about the first 1 was trash apart from Tom Hardy. The movie just meandered when he was not in the scene. Michelle Williams was paychecking her way through a sleepwalk. The scene with the lobsters in the restaurant should have been idiotic but Hardy pulls it off (it was his idea to get in the aquarium).

So any sort of chemistry and hamming it up with Woody is going to be an improvement on the first.

I do see this movie being incredible plot-lite. So I wonder if that will be a big issue

If the mid credit scene story is true....

It could be a "Joke" scene, rather then a absolute guarantee Holland's Spidey will be fighitng Venom anytime soon.

I thought the first one stunk, except for the performances, so it's no great trick for this one to be better.

I am curious to see how Serkis does on his first major release as a director (his Jungle Book having vanished to oblivion.

One thing for sure, Harrleson had the best possible coach for how to give a good performance in Mocap......yes, he did, my precious, yes he did.....
