Walt Disney
I agree. What do you think about RANGO?Rango was original for an animated movie. However, the concept of the newcomer coming to an old-western town and helping out has been done in live action westerns. And an American Tail: Feivel Goes West did deal with the Old West in animated form. Edited November 25, 2012 by Walt Disney
kayumanggi
Wait, how about that Japanese cartoon with a flying house (forgot the title)? Is the flying house the only similarity it has with UP?
tupek
It could be, because it may have a much better story (the japanese director has done great animated films).

There are no humans or proto-humans?Do you remember the TV-mini-series Dinotopia(2002), where Dinosaurs and Humans coexisted in a kind of "Lost World"? BK007
Think people should be excited about this. It's original and from Pixar, and as far as I'm concerned, they should be given the benefit of the doubt for their original flicks.

MovieMan89
Sure, but the house in Up was a fully furnished, two-story deal.Lol, I think you're missing the point. The point being a house really can be lifted by balloons. Obviously they exaggerated it for an animated movie, but it can be done nonetheless.
