I think lots of "tolerant" directors  that make the drama movies now find the idea of working with the Scientology poster boy a repelent idea.

Tom Cruise could have been in the new Tarantino Manson murder movie but had to turn it down to do Top Gun 2. Hope he takes a break from action movies at some point and tries different types of films again

Well, Tom Cruise s ego is also another factor.

He rarely accepted in his career to not be the main star of his movies.

Tom Cruise movie posters were once famous for having his name as big as the title of the movie.

Idk how you top Fallout but still so damn hyped for this.

Fallout was the emptiest Mission Impossible movie since the second as far as narrative is concerned.

 

It was really spy mumbo jumbo bullshit leading to the next Tom Cruise X-games.

And while you may say this is true for all the MI movies, Fallout was definitely the biggest culprit of this with MI 2.

 

People, including me, do love meaningless circus acts tho.
