The hanging on a plane stunt was incredibly heavily marketed as well

10% chance, and only if it’s bad. It’s only real competition will be Barbie and Oppenheimer which are different types of movies

I know I’m really optimistic but I really think this can do like 120 OW to 400 DOM with fallout level reception, mainly because of the Maverick effect

TG:M opened to 120M. There's no way MI_DR does the same.

 

I really think a best case scenario is what @DAJK predicted, but i'm not convinced even by that. MI:Fallout barely made 10M more than Ghost Protocol. It just seems there's a ceiling to the franchise. Top Gun is a very different beast.

But this is coming after Top Gun and I like the marketing. Its OW will see a boost for sure. We will know this summer.

John Wick 4 hold the best pure action film opening record. A $80~90M opening for MI7 would be more realistic.
