It's easily the best Dragon Ball movie to date,and these numbers are a testament to it. Shame it didn't have a similar increase over Resurrection F in Japan, that's mostly due to Frieza being a very popular character there.

Japan is the only place where it hasn't blown the previous movie away. I think in almost every other country, Broly opened higher than Resurrection F finished with.

Yes its a japanese film therefore its foreign in the US.
