Saw this with a sold out crowd tonight. It’s funny and very, very stylishly directed. It also had a great twist.

It’s not as “horror” or action packed as the trailer suggests though, and I can see American audiences getting easily confused.

Any guess on the CinemaScore?

Any idea why critics are divided? I was thinking maybe because it's too absurd kinda like Malignant.

Hope to see it soon, i'm expecting this movie since 2019.

I’m not too sure, it’s definitely not Malignant level crazy and it’s not “camp”. People on Twitter keep mentioning bad reviews, but I’ve rarely actually seen any.

It’s certainly not for everyone, so I can see why some don’t like it. It’s not very mainstream, and I did see it in an art house.

It definitely doesn’t deserve an 18.

They’ve definitely been overly sensitive lately. I remember a few years ago when it was extremely rare to see an 18, but they seem to hand them out like candy at the moment. They seem to be inconsistent with it as well, The Many Saints of Newark contained multiple uses of the word “c*nt”, racist language and scenes of domestic violence, but got away with a 15, whereas an episode of The Sopranos that contained that kind of content would have received an 18 without question.

Last Night in Soho getting that rating will definitely impact its box office.
