I suspect it'll be released as premium VOD rental a few weeks after it opens anyway if it flops over Labor Day weekend. We might start seeing more studios shifting their major releases to VOD now as it becomes clear 2020 can't be saved (and production resuming means a pileup of movies is gonna begin).

Ooh, Mulan’s success will be measured in new subscribers, so 60m is already quite high, might be a challenge. 
 

It’ll be interesting to see how many new subscribers they get upon its release.
