The thing I like most about Nolan s films :

 

the shinny, popping, vivid colors.

 

Makes me feel alive watching his movies.

First day youtube views in main account around 5.6-5.7m and 205k likes. Views number in twitter is very good too and reaction to prologue before SW9 is fantastic so far. If movie deliver with good critical acclaim as usual. Seems like safe 200-250m Dom at least with this movie should have wider demographic target than Nolan's 2 previous movies.

I'm predicting 275-300mil domestic and 550-650mil internationally. I think people will be excited to see Nolan back on a big sci Fi action thriller.

It's a wonderful thing to have Nolan deliver these original concepts, especially given the current lackluster blockbuster climate.

Nolan has a real cult like following in India so much so Bollywood invited Nolan before shooting began to learn about classic Bollywood award winning films because they wanted Nolan to work with Indian film makers

Saw the prologue on IMAX and is mesmerizing

 

Didn’t reveal anything but it make a real impact, seems like typical Nolan blockbuster but way more mature considering he grow as director since 2010

A bit of box office trivia:

 

If Tenet legs out to $323M domestically, Nolan will pass Michael Bay for second on the all time domestic gross list for directors. (Third place needs $287M to catch the Russos.) First place is of course Spielberg, a factor of 2 above Bay right now.

 

The worldwide list has Nolan in 7th, and there is a $1.28B gap to 6th (David Yates).

Top Gun apparently the whole film was shot on IMAX, only partially for Tenet.

With the bigger brand power, I hope Top Gun takes all the IMAX screens and Tenet gets NONE.
