How about an industry award?

Well she's already one too and wasn't nominated for sag or bafta. But it does says a lot that the other two actresses who are contending for the wind can't win when she's nominated or even when she's not. Amy Adams should have easily won this tonight just like she should have easily won the Golden Globes for at least one of her performances.

Golden Globes aren’t a major televised award?

Yes they are. There are four major televised Awards. Golden Globes, sag, bafta, in the Critics Choice Awards.

So far Regina King has swept the critics Awards and won Golden Globe and the critic Choice Awards which are two industry Awards. Emily Blunt just won to sag and Rachel will likely win the bafta. That means that Regina King will have not only swept the critics Awards but won two of the four industry Awards. Emily Blunt who is not even nominated for Oscar one. Won one industry Awards and Rachel will likely win the bafta. That leaves the Oscar to go to king or Rachel. One thing's for sure it won't be Adams or stone since they virtually won nothing this award season. The race is not over but the favours look heavily and Regina King's odds.

Well she wasn't nominated for sag or Baptists or course you can't win those. But it does say a lot that when she's in the category nobody can win. It also says a lot that blunt won the SAG over for other people who are nominated for Academy Aw

Nobody in the HFPA or the BFCA is a member of the Academy, SAG, or British Academy (or if they are they are in a very small minority).

The old career achievement masquerading as a legit Best Actress performance.

Olivia Coleman got robbed.

have you watched The Wife? Or just talking out your ass?

As much as it might be a career Oscar... a lot of people who saw The Wife say it is her best performance ever.
