Although Reminiscence isn't lacking narrative ambition, its uncertain blend of sci-fi action and noir thriller mostly provokes memories of better films.

I lasted an hour and seven minutes. This shit is a dull fucking time. I truly don’t like turning off movies during my first watch but this thing is just that un-engaging. A super cliche neo-noir film strung together by a sci-fi gimmick. It could’ve been a fun 90 minute junk sci-if film you catch on TV like ‘In Time’ or ‘Surrogates’ but it takes itself too seriously. It is what it is.

I actually dug it. It's not great but the story kept me interested and I liked all the actors. Certainly didn't deserve that blasphemous opening.
