While I would much prefer a series of: Best performance in a Contemporary Drama Best performance in a Historic Drama Best performance in a Comedy Best performance in a Horror, Sci-Fi or Thriller Best performance in a Family Film Best performance outside the English Language AND Best Overall Performance Other awards shows (ie Golden Globes) have shown a total inability to stick to genre lines.
