Not quite the next The Fault in Our Stars but it's a cut above average for the genre and not nearly as sappy as I figured it would be. More than anything else it cements that Haley Lu Richardson, in her most significant role to date after impressing in roles/movies both big and small since The Edge of Seventeen, is one to really watch out for. Her co-star Cole Sprouse is decent, but she's the main reason to see this. B-
