filmlover
Wasn't on my radar before but this looks good. Issa Rae and LaKeith Stanfield make for a good combo. Could see it doing well around Valentine's Day.

JB33
Well, just found out this is what I'll be at the theatre for on Valentine's Day. The other options are Sonic and Fantasy Island so I suppose I'm not missing too much. I would have been up for FI but Sonic doesn't interest me whatsoever. JB33
Given how horror has fared so far in 2020, is it almost guaranteed that this out-opens Fantasy Island? Romance/couples movies have always done well on Presidents' Day weekend, or the weekend before, depending on which weekend is closer to Valentines Day. JB33
Thoughts on the new trailer? Every couple I know is going to see this. Sounds like a potential hit.
JB33
Opening in 2,500 theatres, per BOP and The Numbers. This is probably the standard for the genre from now on, barring really positive tracking for any given romance.
JB33
Not surprising, I guess, but looks like this one is going to be really frontloaded. Huge Valentine's Day player as you'd expect and then a big drop on Saturday. It's lucky in that this year Valentine's Day also lands on Presidents' Day weekend so the Sunday drop might be softer, and then of course there's Presidents' Day Monday. Has anyone here seen it? lilmac
Looks like roughly $11m for the 3-day.

In fairness, my best friend and his GF told me their couple friends are going to see it so that's 4 couples worth of anecdotal evidence!!
