Eric Atreides
https://deadline.com/2019/03/warner-bros-release-date-changes-the-goldfinch-goes-earlier-in-fall-superintelligence-shifts-ben-affleck-drama-dated-1202580958/ Quote Also receiving a date is the Gavin O’Connor-directed Ben Affleck drama which is currently untitled (aka Torrance). That will debut on Oct. 18. Affleck plays a widowed, former basketball all-star who lost family foundation in a struggle with addiction and attempts to come back by becoming the coach of a disparate, ethnically mixed high school basketball team at his alma mater. MCKillswitch123
I read the description and I was both amazed that it was basically a Ben Affleck biopic, and disappointed that it wasn't a sequel to The Accountant.

JB33
Cool. Been waiting for awhile to know what the "Untitled Ben Affleck movie" that's been on BOM's schedule for so long is. In fact, I notice this thread was started March 22 with a description. I wasn't even aware of that. All I knew was that there was a Ben Affleck movie coming out in October. So yeah, cool. Really different from his last several movies too.

JB33
Hope something from November moves to October 18. That weekend now has just two mid-level sequels - Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and Zombieland: Double Tap.

I wonder if it'll have the buzz to justify a wide release right off the hop. I don't want to be cynical but you wonder if audiences today want to go see a black and white film.
