So Captain Marvel just passed Rogue One WW total. It’s 1,62m above DHD’s early weekend estimate. At 386m it could pass the 400m mark domestically by Endgame’s weekend. And it’s multiplier just passed 2.52x OW. It should end somewhere between 2.6x-2.7x by the end of its run.

For reportedly terrible One Direction Fan Fiction with the names scrubbed off based on terrible Twilight Fan Fiction with the names scrubbed off based on terrible books I guess it's done pretty well.

It kills my derby - I had no idea what this was based on or I'd have accounted for serious pre sale fan front loading.

Captain marvel is killing it. Shazam and CM are going to have incredible weeks next week. Awesome!

Hellboy going double digits (in millions) is the biggest surprise of the weekend for me. Was sure it was going sub-$10m; I guess it was really walk-up friendly?

I suppose there was an audience that was gonna see it opening weekend no matter how crummy the reviews were. It's gonna fall off ugly in the weeks ahead though.
