Formally announce your intended films and release dates for Y5 here and they'll be added to the calendar below.

PHASE 1: IMAX Priorities (Now)

Select up to FOUR films to prioritize with an IMAX window. Do NOT select any other films for this phase.

  • Select films that you believe have blockbuster potential or could do well in the format.
  • Priorities for IMAX go to sequels to films that have made $200m+.
  • Every film in the format is entitled to two weeks in the format, unless explicitly given permission by the user of a film which would only have a one week run.
  • A 50/50 split of IMAX screens can also be negotiated.

PHASE 2: Other Films (Begins TBD)

Fill in any other films to the schedule, namely:

  • Notable Oscar contenders
  • Films with potential for $100m+
  • Any other potential IMAX releases provided space is available.

General Guidelines:

  • Please provide a title, date, genre, and director for each film you want on the advanced schedule.
  • Aside from the weekend after Thanksgiving, we should try to have at least one wide release every weekend.

You all know what to do, so let's get to it.

Red films are in IMAX.

@YourMother the Edgelord said he had an animated film he wanted out near the end of March so I was hoping to stay closer to Easter myself.

If he's willing to move I can take the 25th.

I have nowhere to put The Music In Me now, if @cookie would be willing to move to the March 18th, TMIM will aim for early-mid April during the April corridor of all is good with that.

Opening an animated musical vs a live action musical seems like a risky proposition regardless

You two can coexist besides as a prequel I doubt you’ll do more than $300M. Besides I don’t want to face another musical in April.
