so CM is getting hugely boosted by Endgame hype right?

I think its a big reason especially for the recent boost, but Eastern,... too.

Plus as I am very much into the film I am still reading Social media, there are ppl who waited for the time near to Endgame to watch the movie, other were doubters for 'hearing' things, but got convinced to try it still - most of those react partly even shocked, like what the negative fuss was even about, liking the movie - means I think a part of the late legs are ppl at first not going (as such not increasing OW), but anti-caused lateer than usual try, as such helping legs.

And some people watched it really often, the new Guinness World Record for most often watched movie got a man for watching it.... 116 times!

Re-tweeted by someone who watched it 37 times....

There are quite some ppl telling about having watched it rather often, also some going late alone alone bcs giving up on waiting for 'spouse who heard things' or ....

I can see critics moaning “it doesn’t need to be three  hours “ or some other shit

Critics educated in film won’t.

But if you mean bloggers, maybe. But it hasn’t stopped other 3 hour films getting raves

Yeah, but some critics seem to have a bias against superhero movies so I could see those people squirming already.

Most superhero movies get mainly positive reviews so it’s genuinely baffling that people still have takes along these lines.  Yes, some critics have biases against superhero movies.  Every critic is biased against something.  Why worry about it when it’s almost a guarantee that Endgame will be acclaimed anyway?

those critics who have a "bias against superhero movies" were nowhere to be found when BP and Spider-Verse got universal acclaim

Same as DH Part 1 vs Part 2. In the end it was a movie with no real ending it's a miracle the reviews were as good as they were for Infinity War. End Game may get crazy good reviews.

Yup. Critics don't have a problem with superheroes. It's silly to suggest that given how many get good reviews. They do have a problem with cliffhanger endings though.

Does anyone have to actually prepare? 2016 gave us the full guidelines.

You must admit though that the risky art films angle is quite clever. It covered excuses on all bases: art film so risky to the point that not just audience but movie critics can’t understand hence poor reviews, and artsy to the point of niche and ain’t meant to make money at the BO. Gotta give it to the fanboys for creativity.

but both of those had atypical parts, BP had a lot of markers typically associated with drama,... hence why they got their Oscar noms too.

If you read through a lot of them, you will find reviews where you can ask yourself if the reviewer even has seen more than the trailer, snide... against ~ SH included.

Not saying there is a huge amount of reviewers with bias, but there are some at least.

Some of those like certain CBMs for e.g. inclusion or added themes and give it a middle rating instead of a rotten... but tend to dislike a lot of CBMs.

Exceptions do not exclude the whole, the qualifiers need for the exception can be a reason - to  degree.

Beside, RT opened up a whole new list of 'critics', aka e.g. YT-blogger known for also using click-bait a lot, expect to see some strange 'evaluations' in the near future

Sure they were. Being biased against a genre doesn’t mean you’ll give every single member of it a negative review.

if bias against superhero movies didn't exist some of these movies would actually get lower scores because they'd be held to a higher standard rather than the dismissive positives of "oh it's fun i guess" that some get.

Saw Penguins this afternoon with my son. Only one other couple in the entire auditorium.

Was a fun documentary, sorry its not doing better.

Was interesting to see what trailers they attached. Got Dog Journey's Home, Ugly Dolls, Pikachu,  Angry Birds 2, Frozen 2, The Lion King.

I know i am forgetting one other animated trailer.
