My gut on Sunday is that compared to last Easter it was simply a case of more people seeing films on Friday (those numbers were higher than last year) and fewer Sunday. Just a switch in what days GA went to the movies. Patterns don't always hold.

Easter Sunday used to be known for death at the Cinema, so this is not surprising. Also, WB gave an overly generous drop for both COL and Shazam so again, not a surprise.
