I wonder what other film or studio will crack $300m? Considering only Jurassic World from Universal cracked $200m, it might be a while.

Which comes first:

first non-marvel 250+

fourth Marvel 250+

?

I believe Lincoln Square as well. Lincoln Square actually has residential locations above it.

I find it incredible they could fit 25 screens into the Empire but IIRC only the exterior and part of the lobby is the original building, the rest is all brand new.

I imagine when the E-Walk is refurbished, it'll be very similar to what the Cineworld Leicester Square looks like in London. I think Union Square is being refurbished at the moment.

Need a 3rd Marvel 250 before worrying about the 4th, no?

And at this point I'll say non-Marvel, as nothing we're expecting to get by 2023 will do it. Black Panther 2 will have the best shot by I expect it to be +/- the first by 10%

I don't see anything big enough from any other studio to do it. The next Jurassic World movie will be the closest thing, and even that won't do it.

I can see more $200m+ openings from the other studios. There's a few records that need to be broken like November which has been Catching Fire for nearly six years and the first $100m+ three day opening for January and October,

If all of those other movies are that small, Endgame is going over $200m.

I think if you ask about 3rd instead of 4th the answer is too clear cut

I can see $200M, but I don’t see any $250M openers besides more Disney films. Eventually it’ll happen, but not for awhile.

Shrek 5. That is taking the animation record.

For a Box Office and personal standpoint, Disney’s stronghold is both powerful and very sad.

I realize Endgame is the competition here, but the new releases won't go THAT low.

I think Shrek 5 is practically a lock. A Pokémon Red/Blue adaptation has a chance but it may be too repetitive for the GA and would have to be split into parts. Harry Potter 9 can also do it and something from DC, eventually.
