That's b/c Marvel really ranted SM and the merchandise sales which top $1B a years in sales and the use of him in other Marvel movies where Sony doesn't get %.

 

It might not be worth it to them to give another studio a significant Distribution % when they have thousands of other characters to use they don't have to cut anyone else in for.  They can afford to just wait until these deals lapse.

I had a dream last night that I checked comScore first update on Friday and it crossed pure Friday in just pre-sales. I was like WTF.

 

Then I woke up in morning and did some calculations and that might not be too wild since it will be +70% TFA in pre-sales and that will be enough to do that.
