$400m is impossible...but it "only" needs $357m to accomplish what you're saying.

He means all movies. Current record is $314m.

I'm surprised La Llorona isn't that far behind CM.

There's a certain group of young people who are always too cool for school and want to go against the grain.

Let it sink in, we could potentially have 2 territories where EG could hit $350M for the OW!!!!:ohmygod:

I'm guessing the "small chance of $300 million" is an absolute poor attempt at sarcasm.

What? -50% Saturday drops are commonplace, don't you know box office?

What the hell is it gonna do in the rest of the world? Are we looking at over IM3 WW on OW ($1.214B)?

You're looking at OW records in UK, Australia, Brazil, Mexico and many more places. 1.25-1.3B WW with IW legs, Avatar WW goes down!!!!!!!

Pretty muted increase for CM, but understandable.

But that number looks to be enough for 8M+ weekend I would think.

How about Shazam?

Shazam 1.4

Where's the Cinemascore? Aren't those released about now? I honestly don't see how the film receives anything but an A+. My audience seemed to love it.

So a 5.4-5.6m w/e  - at best a 66% drop...

Not unexpected but I guess even Shazam couldn't bear the brunt of Endgame.

Yeah I underestimated how big everything would drop, it looks like. The prevailing wisdom was that, at least for certain movies, spillover effect would help but it looks like that's not the case. Everyone and their dog just went and found a way to see Endgame, every other movie be damned.

With how busy theatres would be today I'm surprised anybody could even be bothered seeing anything other than Endgame.

350m weekend with a 2.72 multiplier leads to 952m domestic.
