What an amazing weekend, records shattered throughout the world. Endgame out opened Infinity War in every single territory!!!! Dom actuals are $7.1M higher than the estimate! New domestic OW record with $357.1M, nearly $100M above IW's $257.7M. Friday $157.5M shattered the old record 32% and Saturday set a new record with $109.4M which is highest single day gross minus previews. Setting a new upper limit which was previously at $82M+ IW. All 3 days minus previews, came in over $90M, above the $82M set by IW!

 

 

 

OS actuals are in at $866,5M, up $7.5M from the estimate. Stunning opening 5 days, it has nearly beaten original Avengers total(895M) OS gross in 5 days! It's already the 4th biggest MCU movie OS just behind Infinity War, Age of Ultron and The Avengers. OS total is 14th highest of alltime and enter top 10 after tomorrow. 

 

WW actuals $1,223,641,414, obliterating the old record by 91% which was held IW (641M). It's already the 17th biggest movie WW after 5 days. Breath-takingly awesome performance!!!!

Yup. 200M estimates for TA and 250M estimate for IW.

We live in a lifetime where i, a huge GoT fan have come to vastly dislike the show peaking with yesterday's episode and came out a crying mess out of Endgame, a finale in a franchise where i've seen all the films and had absolutely no emotional connection to any of them. I'm not sure what's going on.

 

For the longest time, The Dark Knight and Spider-Man 2 were the only two comic book films i've loved, and i've long forsaken the idea of loving another one. All i can say is, thank you Marvel for making this film, it deserves everything it makes.

I'm currently listening to the Iron Man score and watched the trailer. I'm suddenly feeling very melancholy. It's like when you're a kid and you're anticipating Christmas Day for like a month. Then it comes and it's over.
