Great job on the Korea front btw. Much appreciated.

Thanks, it's been a pleasure to track it. Also today is looking like 850k in SK (42.8% bigger than IW same day)

Which coincidentally works well for your WW 1.2B OW prediction

True but I don't expect SK to hold the +40%, same with the UK and a few other markets. Other markets will clearly do more than 40% over IW.

But yeah so far it's looking good (OD was 35% bigger in SK) Expect Friday to have the 40% bump as well but sat and sunday will be around 20% instead of the 35%-40%

Yeah that's fair and to be expected given they already had great numbers for infinity war. That wasn't the case for everywhere so many have a lot more space to grow. I thought initially the US would severely limited as well but maybe it can somehow squeeze a 20% increase as well.

I barely watched any footage for End Game so I could go in knowing as little as possible and basically got the movie spoiled for me the day I am supposed to see it in the End Game thread. I hate the internet.

I was trusting this forum to help keep my expectations in check.....

Don’t worry I’m here. 1st Avengers and Infinity War were both better. This movie is fine. It’s kind of a mess honestly but it’s a fun one.

I got it spoiled for me on a random site...but only one spoiler (although probably the biggest), so I feel you:)...

I still can’t believe CM is going to gross more domestically than WW adjusted for inflation. WW felt like more of an event movie and I actually thought it was the better movie ( even though I only saw it once in theaters and saw CM twice in theaters). Yet, CM just keeps creeping closer and closer as the weeks go by.

You inspired me to check out the adjusted SH rankings:

11 Avengers: Age of Ultron BV $487,630,200 4,276 $202,378,600 4,276 5/1/15
12 Spider-Man 3 Sony $445,609,200 4,324 $200,097,600 4,252 5/4/07
13 Iron Man 3 BV $445,017,100 4,253 $189,314,700 4,253 5/3/13
14 Captain America: Civil War BV $425,940,200 4,226 $186,936,700 4,226 5/6/16
15 Wonder Woman WB $420,112,400 4,165 $105,097,300 4,165 6/2/17
16 Captain Marvel  BV $406,427,500 4,310 $154,792,700 4,310 3/8/19
17 Iron Man Par. $403,990,800 4,154 $125,127,600 4,105 5/2/08

Ultron is way out of reach, CW good as dead. Iron Man 3 and SM3 look really tough, but not out of the question.

I think WW probably felt like more of an event because no one ever expected a 4x multiplier to $412m after its $100m opening weekend :)
