You both should, it's not the same level as IM1 or GOTG, but it's still fun and has great performances from Brie Larson, SLJ, Ben Mendelsohn and from the flerken Goose/Chewie.

Oh yes! Saw GOTG as well, that actually might be my fav marvel film. Can’t believe I forgot that one.

Well if we did won’t be soon. He’s in bulgaria now for a year and a half 😕

if its 40m+ i don't think a 180-200m weekend is all that crazy

i think it'll be 37-38 tho

Even at 37 / 24.8 (IW Monday) x 114.4 (IW 2nd Weekend) = $171m

Not saying the math is straightforward, but the 2nd weekend is gonna be huge if Monday is anything over $35m.

That seems incredibly low.

Assuming it followed IW's daily multi from Monday onward I got it up to 888mil before the dailies dropped below 1mil on Day 56~, If it makes 40mil Monday that goes up to 1.012 Bil, if 43mil it gets to 1.07bil.

I also went AWOL for a while if you remember, Brie Larson brought me back permanently this year.

Speaking of I am only here for CM's number. Where is it?

By BP Sun drop: 754k

By BP double weekly drop: 713k

some quick MT maffs: ~680k

Personal guess: 725k

My mother text me this morning: "Avengers made over a billion dollars!"

I know, Ma....I know.

Same.  Only with my Dad.

I was talking to mine, and he mentioned that our Disney Stock was up again.  I replied: "Well, End Game did make 350M this weekend."

And he said to me: "What are you talking about?"

Now, my Dad hates "funny books" and knows nothing about Marvel Studios.  He continued: "It made 1.2 BILLION."

I was like,

:hahaha:

CNBC is clearly on top of this.

For a comparison; at 11:20pm last night they put out $73.4m as the Sunday number. Sunday got up to $90.4m

So if we add 3% for the additional hour, then extrapolate off of that we'd be looking at $37.2m

Plus Monday night should be stronger compared to Sunday night.

My guess right in Charlie's range.

Okay, let’s get some context to this schoolday Monday number. If it gets to 41.1M, here are all the days in the past 10 months where a non-Endgame movie has had a bigger true daily gross:

9 Mar. 9 Sat 68 $73,122,896 +0.4% +72.3% 65 Captain Marvel  $52,872,536

Literally that’s it. Most Saturdays don’t get that big for all movies combined.

You did not use the word "even" before the figure "36M".

I mean, I must be hallucinating, right? ;)

Just a couple days dozen minutes before somebody says “only” 170M 2nd weekend.

I hope it doesn’t have only a 170M 2nd weekend 😈
