In morning today, I was checking for top admits in China. Titanic 3D had ¥48 ATP while FF8 was around ¥35 and Endgame is at ¥50.5.

So Titanic's adms price were really bloated. Just 2.5 Yuan gap between two films separated 7 years seem very low in a market like Chinese.

Endgame had ridiculous high prices along first hours (correct me if I am wrong), but I guess that 50 is a more normal price.

Everyone's gonna freak Friday when jumps but not as much as folks hope but higher than IW jumped. Then, it's gonna do bonkers numbers Saturday and, again like IW, have a insanely impressive Sunday.

If it jump as much as IW, it's not doing anything less than 170mn.

Avatar grossed ₹8cr (1.8mn) in just one screen in India because it was playing like a 7D experience thing. I don't think it or Avatar 2 will do even 1/3rd of that today.

Save your strength for EG estimates, bro :redcapes:

If it hits 24 for Thursday

Worse case Imaginable imo

43.2 (80%)

64.8 (50%)

47 (-27.5%)

That's my floor with a Thursday 24.

If 23.5 Thursday

Friday 47.7

Saturday 70.8

Sunday 55.6

Weekend:  174.1(with Infinity War drops).

With a 25 Wednesday I don't see it hitting 24 Thursday.  Probably closer to 23.5

A:IW (A) did 114.7mn in 2nd weekend and finaled with 2.97x for 340mn after 1st Week.

The Avengers (A+) did 103mn in 2nd weekend and finaled with 3.42x for 353mn after 1st week.

Black Panther (A+) did 111.7mn in 2nd weekend and finaled with 3.68x for 409mn after 1st week.

Now BP released in February, with lower competition and was boosted by Infinity War in late legs.

Now Endgame (A+) is completing its 1st week at $475mn. Ignorning The Avengers' 3.42x and using A:IW's 2.97x we may get these scenarios with 2nd weekend being;

140mn - 475 + 415 : 890

150mn - 475 + 445 : 920

160mn - 475 + 475 : 950

170mn - 475 + 505 : 980

180mn - 475 + 535 : 1010

190mn - 475 + 565 : 1040

200mn - 475 + 595 : 1070

Now I don't see the last two and first two happening. My personal expectations are 172 and that would give 985.

I just feel Sunday's going to be considerably higher than Friday. Maybe close to 10M higher even. IW's second Sunday was 5M+ higher than it's second Friday.
