Maybe it is a Canada thing only? Tickets are on sale and it is being heavily promoted. What is the point of pulling it now? The OS release is full steam ahead as the movie was sold individually to each market worldwide. Is Lionsgate that desperate to get rid of it one week away from releasing it? Which streamer would want this just for America? It doesn't make sense to me.

Sounds like this is a Canada only feud between chains and the studio. Shouldn't impact the opening weekend a whole lot.

Odeon here in the UK wont be showing it either. Maybe they’re being awkward in other countries too.

Theaters are pretty empty right now, and Moonfall might somewhat appeal to the demo still going to movies. The opening probably won't be amazing, so there's no need for distributors to get greedy (if thats what is happening).

 

Stanley Tucci was supposed to be in this?!
