KOTM is far better than ID2 come on now.

KOTM actually has visually impressive action sequences while ID2 (which I kinda like) has energy-lacking action sequences. Literally the best part of it was the Big Alien with the Plasma Bazooka.

I know some people like the G14 better but that movie should have not continued the Jaws approach to Godzilla, once he popped up at the airport. That movie is also close to being a perfect Godzilla movie, BUT I think a lot of people would have liked it better if they showed the airport battle. We may not be having quite as dire box office results if that happened.

People in 2019 don't know what an actual Godzilla movie is supposed to be like, even when one has been released this week.

ID2 was genuinely one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. KotM wasn’t great overall, but it had some moments that were great. It had the occasional moment of being ID2-bad, but they were infrequent whereas ID2 machine-gunned them at you.

Cuts both ways, as many predicted Mary Poppins would kill Aquaman. Although, Mary Poppins wasn’t MCU, it was still Disney.

If we go MCU, many thought GOTG2 would crush WW. Narrator’s voice: It didn’t.
