Everyone I've personally heard from enjoyed it... B+ cinemascore... And Disney declares a $200mil write off on it and effectively agrees that it's toast. I thought there was at least 2 weeks? That was what helped MVA, HTTYD etc. If last week was Lorax's boost, that's pathetic.I'm really critical because my club will now fail. Sure, it'll cross 200 and it still surprised everyone but it's disappointing after OW.Maybe the movie really is average as reviews say. Whatever. Not a bad film, but not nearly as entertaining as most other animated films for the last few years. We went to see MVA, HTTYD, Despicable Me, G&J, Puss in Boots, KFP2, Cars2, (and several others that I'm sure I'm forgetting) multiple times in the theater, but don't think we'll need to see this one again. Hahaha damn. This must really be quite bad then. I'll see it anyway when it does finally come out in July, but expectations are really watered down now. I saw it twice but I do agree the movie is nowhere near the Pixar level. Its more of a film we would see from Dreamworks or Sony Animation. Still enjoyed the movie for what it was.
