Man, John Carter... That's got to be by far the lowest performing movie that I've really enjoyed. Friends have enjoyed it... Everyone I've personally heard from enjoyed it... B+ cinemascore... And Disney declares a $200mil write off on it and effectively agrees that it's toast.

Um, what a fucking joke for the Lorax. There's no competition and it drops like crap for two weeks in a row. Now spring break's over as well? I thought there was at least 2 weeks? That was what helped MVA, HTTYD etc. If last week was Lorax's boost, that's pathetic.I'm really critical because my club will now fail. Sure, it'll cross 200 and it still surprised everyone but it's disappointing after OW.Maybe the movie really is average as reviews say. Whatever.

Took my kids to see it today and it was pretty meh. Not a bad film, but not nearly as entertaining as most other animated films for the last few years. We went to see MVA, HTTYD, Despicable Me, G&J, Puss in Boots, KFP2, Cars2, (and several others that I'm sure I'm forgetting) multiple times in the theater, but don't think we'll need to see this one again. Would imagine this one isn't getting nearly as much repeat business as most of the other heavy hitters.

Wow, you took your kids multiple times to see MVA (boring) G&J (DTV) PIB (meh) & Cars 2 (un-Pixar)? Hahaha damn. This must really be quite bad then. I'll see it anyway when it does finally come out in July, but expectations are really watered down now.

Stop going crazy for that movie FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!! I saw it twice but I do agree the movie is nowhere near the Pixar level. Its more of a film we would see from Dreamworks or Sony Animation. Still enjoyed the movie for what it was.

Spring break is over? That's a pretty harsh drop for The Lorax

I'm still on spring break, until next week, and then it's easter the week after, and I know a bunch of people get off on the 30th.
