Becomes Will Smith's highest grossing movie worldwide next week. Domestic record (currently $325.1 million, Suicide Squad) will follow in July. Going from HELL NO, get that blue Will Smith away from here!, to HELL YEAH give me some more of that blue Fresh Prince!. This movie is having a truly outstanding box office run.

Aladdin BO is all I care about atm. It's a great, endlessly rewatchable movie, with great cast, great songs, great adventure. it isn't a sequel that you have to watch previous movies to know wtf is going on. it's the most GA friendly offering on the market and no wonder people are flocking to it. Will deserves to have 1B on his resume and he will. :bravo:

Honestly the 2D ticket price is not much different from the 3D price in 2010

That’s definitely not true if we’re to believe BOMs average ticket price. It’s only gone up about $1.10 since 2010 and 3D tickets always ran you an extra $3 at least, even back then. So I’d still say 3D tickets were a solid $2 to $2.5 more on average than 2D today.

I assume you didn’t want to see it because you knew how bad it would be for you because of it’s existence?

Nope I just didn’t care about it

DARKP will over 250 ww  ... not by much though.

Is on 233.0 right now.

11.1 os weekend including 1.8 from Japan. So could add 17-18 os.

Should add 6-7 dom after 3.6 weekend.

That gives 23-25 more for 256-258 ww.

In several markets ticket prices have went up $0 or have experienced negative inflation. It's the big markets that drag it higher too. It's ridiculous to suggest inflation has changed much because it hasn't. Hell classic movie theaters have experienced deflation because they simply can't compete with modern theaters. I can buy movie tickets any time I want for $7.29 for leather recliners at AMC. The classic AMC charges $5.49 for all 2d tickets and does horrible.

Wow that looks like a gigantic drop from Ts3 in the UK

EXCHANGE RATES

And the same will happen in Japan, on top of the fact that every single Pixar sequel has decreased in Japan, including Incredibles 2, that's why I'm still not sold on the billion until I see second weekend drops.
