What an insane run Venom had over there that a Spider-Man movie is second to it. Although very different situation, and I don't mean just China here, this makes me pretty optimistic about that Joker movie,

Joker and venom are night and day. venom is fun af not an attempt to be a deep study of a troubled abused mind or whatever Joker is supposed to be. Therefore no way Joker come even close to venom OS thought it could make more dom on sheer iconic factor alone. But yeah, Venom is tailor-made for OS markets - charismatic lead and performance by Hardy, spectacle, holy shit ha ha moments a plenty, superhero genre.

Massive nonstop spectacle helped and whatever is.

Venom's first two acts were pretty spectacle-lite for superhero fare. Having said that, looks like Joker is something else altogether. It doesn't need to make gargantuan Venom numbers in China to be successful though.

Again, ridiculous Sunday drops for both Aladdin and Endgame.

Not going to happen. Decent increase incoming.

Aladdin probably closer to 9.8 and Endgame 5.8
