So following TASM's holds so far, just like I expected.

Also, even if this pulls out great legs and heads to 350, I would still like to know why exactly this shouldn't have been a surefire solid admissions increase over the first? There's no reason this movie shouldn't be hitting 400.

No Iron Man  , and fatigue of too many Spider-Man films. Mistake doing another high school version again

So, is everyone expecting July 4 to increase or decrease from Wednesday? Because I don't see how it will decrease. Last year Wednesday seemed to have very soft drops from a Tuesday so shouldn't it increase from Wednesday this year?

it probably will but today is the Doomsday so no positive prediction will change the mood.

 Decrease from Monday. Weird

Almost every holdover outside the Top 5 had a decent-sized drop from Monday. Presumably due to screen loss to accommodate FFH showings.

If there is any Spidey fatigue it looks like it’s only a problem domestically since overseas I believe it’s aiming for 700m

The key to the MCU is that they get the openings on sequels to be much larger (cushion) than their predecessor so that when the frontloadedness kicks in it is offset so that the movie makes more money even with the harsher drops after opening. Only Iron Man 2 was about flat with Iron Man with its bigger opening, Age of Ultron was pretty hopeless when the opening dropped out the gate.

Can we wait before the movie has been out longer than 36 hours before talking about "fatigue?" Like c'mon. Let's at least see how the dailies and second weekend go, then we'll have a better idea. (Then again after Homecoming's second weekend drop a lot of people thought 300M was dead, so...)

First the MCU fails to beat SILLYTAR, and now it gets hit by FRANCHISE FATIGUE. Lmao. Stupid bomb franchise.

39.2?  Ok so about TASM OD Adjusted? (It did 35 Million in 2012).    Also let's keep it real guys, it's a Tuesday and they changed the release dates when it was scheduled for the 5th for most of the year.  The move was smart too by the way as Transfomers DOM, Spidey 2 and TASM all had solid openings.   Wow, TFA's 1st Tuesday was crazy at 37.3.   I think that's a pretty solid OD, let's see how it holds over the next 2 days.
