Power Rangers
March 23rd, 2017, 7:15 PM, 50% full
Marquee Cinemas Southridge 12 | Charleston, WV

The theater lobby was pretty packed, which is nice to see. I suspect there were many people there for Beauty and the Beast, because there were a notable number of girls.

Trailers:
Captain Underpants - Lots of laughter from the kids.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword - There was this one kid who I suspect was mentally challenged. He seemed to really enjoy this trailer for some reason.
Boss Baby - Again, laughter from children.
Ghost in the Shell - No response.
Transformers: The Last Knight - Again, mentally challenged kid from before seemed to really enjoy the explosiveness of this trailer.

The kids enjoyed it, and even some people my age laughed at the content, but I noticed that some of the jokes made people cringe.

CHiPs
March 25th, 2017, 12:30 PM, 5% full (120 seat room)
Park Place Stadium Cinema | Charleston, WV

Only seven people showed up to see this movie (myself included). I went with three friends. Only three other people were with us.

Trailers: (Only one.)
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul - No reaction. I also don't think the trailer was appropriate for a movie like CHiPs.

Everyone appeared to think it was a waste of time. Nobody laughed at any point. NOBODY. The movie seemed to suck the energy out of the room.

Power Rangers

March 26, 2:50 PM, 80% full

Cinemark Towson and XD, Towson, MD

Trailers:

Boss Baby Cinemark Connections ad (small laughs)

Despicable Me 3 (newest trailer, laughs, chatter)

Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie (huge laughs, chatter)

Transformers: The Last Knight (first trailer, murmurs)

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (chatter)

Wonder Woman (newest trailer, small chuckles)

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Quite a lot of laughs throughout the movie.  One guy was snoring throughout the entire thing.  There was also a toddler-age child behind me that called out a few times during the movie.  Applause at the end.  I enjoyed the film as did my mom.  My dad wasn't so fond of it.

Power Rangers

March 26, 3:30 PM, 30% full

AMC Starplex Loudoun 11, VA

Trailers

Leap (No reactions)

Cars 3 (first teaser, chatter)

Transformers: The Last Knight (kids seemed to enjoy this trailer)

Despicable Me 3 (laughs, chatter)

Spiderman: Homecoming (chatter)

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul (no reaction besides me cringing)

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (no reaction)

Not much reaction throughout, just a couple of laughs, and that's all I recall. I think a parent and her kid left early because it got inappropriate or something.

Little late, saw Kong yesterday.

Kong: Skull Island

4:25PM-about 30% full

Trailers:

The Mummy (some talking)

Power Rangers (hey this is playing next door! Yes someone said that)

Ghost in the Shell (Another film playing!)

War of the Apes (some talking)

The Circle (nothing-okay a few what the heck is this was heard)

Chips (laughs from Michael Pena's comment before the trailer that if you text during the movie he will break your neck-and yes another film playing!)

Geostorm (A few that looks dumb, okay it is a disaster film. Probably has great effect but no plot!)

King Arthur (by now-start the movie! Okay that was me thinking. The film doesn't look that bad, its just that its been the same trailer for months)

Movie: Really fun and good! I really enjoyed it, I enjoyed Tom Hildenson's character. And John C. Reilly was very amusing as the air force pilot!

The Lego Batman Movie

April 2nd, 1:00PM, 90% full

Was in Auckland's most garbo theatre because my friend sucks

Trailers:

Despicable Me 3

Cars 3

Boss Baby

Whatever the Smurfs one is called

My sanity

People were relatively into it. Laughs at appropriate points. There were sooooo many kids which is fair because it's a kids movie but got a bit sick of the baby that was crying. Overheard one guy at the end walking out who said "what a bad movie" but otherwise pretty positive.
