Impact
Pirates 5 About 70% full if I was to guess (I don't know I didn't count the number of chairs sorry lol) Trailers: Mummy: I heard a "Not this trailer again" Thor 3: Laughs. Transformers 5: Some talking (I will admit it does look better then the last couple of Transformers) Apes: Silence until the very ending. Dunkirk: Some talking. Episode 8: Claps at the end. Movie: I did find it quite fun and funny. I kind of hope this is in fact the last one (who knows, you know how films are), though I wouldn't mind one more-but only if Depp does return, but I do think he is getting a bit old for the part. Anyway back to the film-I found it better then the 3rd and 4th one, not as good as the first 2 though. The audience really enjoyed it though, tons of claps at some parts. The cameo in the film (wont spoil who it is)-everyone was laughing. The visuals were not that bad either I will admit. B+

afalconer7
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales in 3D May 27, 6:15 PM, 30% full AMC Starplex Loudoun 11, VA Trailers Transformers: The Last Knight (newest trailer) The Mummy (newest trailer) Spider-Man: Homecoming (newest trailer, laughs) War for the Planet of the Apes (newest trailer) Geostorm (laughs) Wonder Woman (short trailer with Imagine Dragons) Valerian and the City of a thousand Planets (newest 3D trailer, poorly received by the audience) Thor: Ragnarok (3D trailer, laughs) Star Wars: The Last Jedi (3D trailer) The movie was very well received by the audience, laughs at appropriate moments for the most part. I was the only one that stayed for the end credits scene. As for the movie itself, I really enjoyed it. Had amazing action sequences, great visuals, a fun storyline, and funny moments. I thought the newer characters could've been better developed, it was quite predictable, some of the jokes that didn't really hit dragged for a bit, and there were some pacing issues. Those flaws didn't really take away from my enjoyment of the movie though, and I think it is the best installment since The Curse of the Black Pearl. My Rating: 3.25/
