Coco

November 24, 7:00 PM, 45% full

Trailers:

Duck Duck Goose

Peter Rabbit (laughs, talks after the trailer, "I wanna see that" from a kid)

Sherlock Gnomes (murmurs)

Smallfoot

A Wrinkle in Time

Incredibles 2 (laughs)

Olaf's Frozen Adventure: Laughs at certain moments, though the people behind me sighed and moaned whenever a new song popped up.

Coco: Mild laughs, but the crowd was pretty quiet....except for some toddler who babbled and cried throughout many moments in the film. The worst was the part where

Spoiler

Hector is singing to Coco. Everything was complete silent, except for that fucking toddler crying, and it was only after that part the mom decided to take the little bastard outside.

I don't even get why you would take a toddler to a 7 PM showing anyway. Shouldn't it be asleep? Bah, whatever. At least most of the crowd applauded at the end though.

Coco

1:35 PM (Really like 2:10, I skipped all the trailers. When I went in to check, it was halfway through the Frozen short. I went to walk around, get some popcorn, point some guests in the right direction, complain to a man in line about the short, and went back just in time to hear "AND WHEN WE'RE TOGETHER")

A smaller crowd, far less enthusiastic. One person kept GASPING at everything, and I'd be angry if I didn't want SOMEONE to react at SOMETHING.

People kept getting up to go to the bathroom. One person kept sniffling from the climax to the end.

Justice League in 2D IMAX

November 25th, 7:45 P.M., ~40% full

The Commuter (no reaction)

Alpha (a few murmurs)

The New Mutants (few murmurs, friend was shocked that Fox was making an X-Men horror film which made me chuckle a bit)

Pacific Rim Uprising (a few unintentional laughs when the Asian general guy was screaming before being blown up)

Tomb Raider (no reaction)

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (no reaction)

Ready Player One (no reaction)

The humor seemed to be hit and miss with the audience but most of the Flash's jokes were solid. People really dug the end credits scenes. Laughs for the first one, a few conversations about a certain character reveal at the second one.

Murder on the Orient Express

November 26th, 8:45PM, 5% full

Trailers:

The Post

Wonder

The Man Who Invented Christmas

The Greatest Showman

The cancerous blight on my soul that is that wretched Ferdinand PSA. I don't think it's going away anytime soon.

Pretty quiet. Chuckles at a couple of points.
