The Disaster Artist

11:00am, 70% full

AMC Lincoln Square

Trailers:

Game Night - lots of laughs during this surprisingly

Blockers (red band) - a few chuckles but some groans too

That Helen Mirren / Jason Clarke ghost haunted house movie - someone yelled during one jump scare

That Thai boxing movie - dead silence

Audience loved the movie. Tons of laughs. Applause at the end.

Coco

7:00 PM, 90% full

Regal Cinema

Trailers:

A Wrinke in Time

Ferdinand (WHY?)

Smallfoot

Sherlock Gnomes (I've never experienced true suffering until watching this trailer)

Peter Rabbit (Fuck off Sony)

Duck Duck Goose

Olaf Purgatory of Shit

The audience loved it as did I. Laughing throughout the film, and some sniffling at scenes through the movie and downright bawling at one particular scene at the ending. The whole movie was worth all of those shitty trailers and that unbearable Frozen short. This is a movie everyone needs to see.

AMC White Marsh 16, White Marsh, MD

Trailers (arrived late):

Pitch Perfect 3

The Greatest Showman

A couple a few seats down tried to have sex during the movie before they left (right before the "paint me like one of your french girls" scene too!).  Some laughs throughout the movie during appropriate moments and a few murmurs when Rose got naked (because boobs I guess).  A few people applauded at the end.

Coco

December 7, 11:30 AM, 10% full in a 78 seat auditorium

AMC Lake Square 12

Early Man

Sherlock Gnomes

Peter Rabbit

Ferdinand (a trailer where JOHN CENA explains the movie with an AMC-exclusive introduction from JOHN CENA @CJohn)

Smallfoot

Incredibles 2

Olaf's Frozen Adventure elicited no reactions from the audience..... other than an old guy falling asleep. This continued into the movie, and I had to alert management to wake him :kitschjob: The people up front shouted stuff every now and again, otherwise this was a "quiet" audience.
