Presumably too violent/scary. I can’t imagine many parents of pre-teens would be wild about R rated Ghostface scaring the crap out of their kids before PG-13 Spidey.

This reminds me of when I was in grade school, whenever it was Halloween and the kids all dressed up in their costumes, there was always like three or four kids dressed up as Ghostface. And I still have no idea why we as kids latched onto the guy, nor why these kids' parents would allow them to dress as him.

Don't Look Up

12/18 12:00 PM

Only person in the theater.

Trailer:

The Outfit

Licorice Pizza

Nightmare Alley

The Matrix

I chuckled a few times, but honestly was something I could've waited to watch on Netflix.

Spider Man: No Way Home 4DX

12/19 4:20 PM

95% Full

Trailers:

Ambulance

Sonic The Hedgehog 2

Moonfall

Uncharted

The Batman

Top Gun Maverick (4DX) (Laughs when the 2020 date came up at the end of the trailer)

Morbius (4DX)

Crowd loved it. Reactions to the 4DX effects in the first couple scenes. Lots of laughs, sniffles, and applause at the appropriate moments. Only half of the crowd stayed for the post credits scene which was surprising.

The Matrix: Resurrections

12/28, 12:00 PM

6 people

Trailers:

Ambulance

Dog

Morbius

The Lost City

A couple moments had some laughs but pretty much nothing else. Movie was lame.

The Tragedy of Macbeth

12/31 4:45 PM

90% full in a 50 seat auditorium

Trailers:

Death on the Nile

The Unbareable Weight of Massive Talent (Big laughs)

Ambulance

The Northman

Some gasps at the violence and a few chuckles at a couple moments. First time in forever an audience has applauded at the end of a movie that wasn't a major blockbuster.

14/01, 20.10

Scream

sold out/202 people

Trailers:

Moonfall

Top Gun Maverick

The Devil’s Light

Unwelcome

Before the film:

Scream trailer used to tell people to stay off their phones and not speak.

Ghostface addressing the audience telling them not to spoil the ending. This went down a storm

This was hardcore fans. Even the smallest references and nods got huge reactions.

Scream

1/29, 17:45

Almost sold out, large theater

Trailers:

Marry Me

Dumbledore

Uncharted

Morbius (looks awful honestly)

No reactions to trailers.

The movie experience was a blast. This was my 2nd viewing. A lot od kids and young adults who were cheering whenever the killer was overpowered. The reactions over the 3rd act were crazy. A lot of applause, screams and cheers. I really wanna go see it for the 3rd time, lol.

That 3rd act really does play so well with a packed audience!

Jackass Forver

7:00 PM 2/3 Dolby Atmos

50-60 People

Trailers:

Blacklight

Studio 666

Uncharted ("I'll probably see that" someone said)

The Bobs Burgers Movie

This was honestly one of the best theater experiences I've had since Jackass 3D. Everyone was laughing and applauding throughout the entire movie. Audible discomfort at some of the more painful gags. Everyone stayed after the credits for the bonus material. Everyone seemed to love it although I heard a lot of people talking about how excessive the nudity in this one was leaving the theater.

Jackass Forever (Extra Bonus Content) Dolby Atmos

2/3, 7:00 PM

20-30 people

Trailers:

Ambulance

The Lost City

Sonic the Hedgehog 2

The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent

Really fun time. The audience was audibly cringing at many scenes during the movie. Many laughs throughout and everyone stayed until the end of the credits for the extra bonus content.
