TwoMisfits Posted July 10, 2019 Share Posted July 10, 2019 Wow, wow, wow! I'm not talking Spidey's Tuesday's number, I'm talking Spidey's movie:). Best characterization by a whole acting team in a supers movie, with NO weak point! Best 3rd act for a super...AND best ending ever in that 1st credit scene (and the 2nd was spot on, too...but the 1st literally elevated my movie grade 1 partial letter:)... So, the WHOLE family gave it an A or better, with the 2 youngest going A+ and saying it felt like an 80 minute movie. So, if you have kids...take them:). Yes, yes, it's got some questionable editing and plot jumps in the 1st act and a half, but when that's done...just wow! This movie is better than any super this year...while not perfect, it absolutely is the spot-on best interpretation of a comic property on to the screen. Well done Marvel, and well done Sony for making the deal and knowing when you have the goods. This movie won't go away with TLK, but is gonna play all summer long...buzz was amazing at the end of the film:)... PS - yes, this is my 1st A since Infinity War...I don't give them lightly, but when a movie earns it, it earns it.
