Shame Aladdin couldn’t manage an extra 100k on Monday. Would have pulled a crazy 59 consecutive days at 1m.

I want to see how many theaters Aladdin keeps.

I didn't have any theaters around me drop Aladdin this weekend. A couple of them did take away a late night showing. It will certainly lose some smaller theaters, but I don't think it will have a huge impact on it overall. I think Disney appears to be protecting its properties as much as it can.

Around me FFH is taking a hit in terms of screens. Most theaters around me are moving from 3-4 screens to 1-2. About 50% of the theaters have the same number of screenings for TS4 this weekend as they do FFH.

AE is getting protected to an extent as well. it was in 5 theaters this week and kept all 5 but took screening hits. it still has 3 screenings a day in one theater. Has 2 screenings a day in 2 and 1 screening a day in 2. Last week it had 3 screenings per day in all 5 theaters. So its going from 15 showings a day last weekend to 9 per day this weekend.

Crazy where is it getting all these screens from its a Disney movie and it would only be fair to take them from Disney movies.

Isn't it better to take them from movies with a low PTA?

In terms of theater counts I expect most of the screens are being taken from anything outside the current Top 6,

in terms of screens, it's screens from those below the top 6 and then from FFH (which is on alot of screens).
