Man, I can't wait for Disney to start making animated remakes of these live-action hits in 30 years or so. The box office is going to go nuts!

I'm down with anything to get Disney back to drawing 2D animations.

even if they're just remakes off a remake

Next comes live action remakes of pixar movies

Then animated marvel movies

Then animated versions of their old family movies (Polyanna, Babes in toyland, Gnome-mobile, etc)

Then....?

Maybe they will go back to 2D if another studio could prove that a 2D animated can gross $700M+. So calling all other animation studios out there. Please make a 2D animated film that is so crowd pleasing and audiences worldwide will enjoy so much that they spend money on it.

So here's a fun game:

What's the biggest opening of a movie you didn't see? For me it's DH2.

On OW or in theaters through the entire run?

Beauty and the Beast

Dark Knight Rises

Twilight 2, 3, 4

Finding Dory

Suicide Squad

Deadpool 2

Saw everything else in Top 50 OW.

Didn't see on opening weekend, in theatres, or didn't see at all?

Didn't see Furious 7 on opening weekend or in theatres at all. A few were so long ago that I can't quite remember if I saw them on opening weekend or shortly thereafter (such as DH2 and and Catching Fire) but F7 I'm sure of on both counts.

Biggest opening weekend for a movie I haven't seen at all? Oh man, ummm....Breaking Dawn Part 1.

Lets see... which ones have I seen?

Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Some of Jurassic World?

Kind of sort of watched Black Panther in the hospital.

Incredibles 2

Captain America: Civil War, but missed the first two minutes.

Most of Iron Man 3?

The Dark Knight Rises

The Dark Knight

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

The Hunger Games

Everything else in the top 20 I have not seen. 8 movies there.

Haven't seen Alladin, 50 Shades of Grey and Zootopia and a bunch of other animated films.
